Our friend Eddy is progressing so well! When we started teaching him he didn’t have a relationship with God and he couldn’t understand why God lets bad things happen to good people. Two weeks ago he called us to thank us for helping him with his spiritual life. After helping him apply this same principle to himself, he was finally able to understand a little bit more about God’s mercy and justice. Since then he has been more opened to act on our invitations to grow his faith.
We also have a friend who has a baptismal date for December! Priya was referred by her brother who was recently baptized in Virginia. She has a Hindu background but a while back she decided to read the whole Bible and convert to Christianity. She is super awesome and I am excited for her decision to be baptized.
My companions are awesome and everyday I learn something new from them. They are loving and hard working. The brazilian people around here are lucky to have these awesome missionaries praying for their success. I love them both.

- It was raining this morning but look at the smile on that girl’s face in the back! She LOVES running. Nothing will stop her and I love her dedication
- This is Betty our 92 year old neighbor. We were having lunch outside on our lawn and she came to talk to us. We didn’t have our masks with us but she didn’t seem to care… It was on Thanksgiving day and she gave us ice-cream! What a lady!
- On one of our morning runs I decided to roll down a nice hill because it was calling my name… It was a little wet but it was GREAT!
- We had two members give us Thanksgiving food and we helped another member drop off other meals for some other people. These people have big hearts and love serving others. I love them all.
