Blessings!!!!
We had a very busy week! We taught new people who are simply awesome! Eddy already knows some english so we started to help him improve it and eventhough his wife isn’t too interested in learning english she is very interested in learning about our religion. Both of them are! Yesterday we gave each of them a copy of the Book of Mormon with a little message we wrote, They really loved this simple act of kindness. Little acts of kindness have the power to touch people!
Also, last week I got a haircut from one of our investigators. Whipe we were there she told her coworkers we are giving english classes and one of them was interested. We had a lesson with her and shared a spiritual message and it went super well!
Something cool about being a missionary is that people know who you are everywhere you go. This morning as we were walking down an isle at Walmart, a worker there stopped us and told us her son was baptized last week in our church in Colorado. She’s catholic and is happy in her religion and she’s also happy for her son’s decision!
Also, when we were checking out our groceries, we saw a recent convert from the ward who works there as well and she was very happy to see us. She told her coworkers close by who we were and after talking to them a little, we invited one of them to church and she said she might come one of these days.
Also, Douglas received his endownments this weekend and I was able to be there for this special moment with him and my parents. Its been 16 months since I saw them last but it felt as if I had seen them just a few days ago. I love this family of mine ❤
Elder Rasband said,
“Every Latter-day Saint temple in the world—all 168 of them—stand as testaments to our faith in eternal life and the joy of spending it with our families and our Heavenly Father.”
The temple is a Holy place. It is the house of the Lord and I couldn’t be happier to be in one of them with my family during the time I’m serving as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ.
I love you all!
