Hey everyone! Ok this week was so great!! In the first few days all of our lessons fell through but we also did have some really great lessons later!
Since the reassigned missionaries aren’t speaking Portuguese anymore, we asked our mission president to have them give the spiritual thought at the end of our English classes and we started doing that this week! We never had a gospel conversation with this one lady but what the other sisters shared was so perfect and we all talked about God’s goodness and his help each day.
Also, our friend Regiane came to church this Sunday!! I got to translate everything for her and it was such an amazing experience! Afterwards bishop came to introduce himself and asked how she liked the service. With her hands in her heart she said she felt peace and so much love for the message. We showed her around the church and she really wants to come again next Sunday. Also, her husband got another job and he won’t be working on Sundays anymore so he will be able to come next week as well!!!
Another friend we have been teaching English expressed some interest in the message we have to share about Christ and we had a lesson with them last night about God’s plan for us and it was SO special!!! We could all feel the spirit! They want to come to church but here’s the thing, they live in Florida and for now, they aren’t having in person church. Plus it’s a Spanish ward. Sad day but they are still interested in joining the Zoom call they have for church!!
The power of fasting you guys, it never fails. Faith, fasting and prayer can be your best friends. God’s work doesn’t stop.

- This wonderful sister in our ward left chicken bake and some cheesecake for us at the church building yesterday. They tasted like heaven!!! ❤
